The Prime Minister
Yousuf Raza Gilani contempt of court hearing will start on Monday (today).
Moreover, the decision of implementation on NRO case by Supreme Court is also
expected today, Dawn News reported. A seven-member bench headed by Justice
Nasirul Mulk has been hearing the case. Previously, the court had announced its
decision on NRO whereby ordering Gilani to correspond with the Swiss
authorities, without seeking anyone’s advice. The court believes that his
refusal to correspond is equivalent to non-compliance. PM had earlier requested
the court to defer the proceedings of NRO implementation case however, the
court rejected his request. The court is expected to announce the verdict on
April, 16.
